After a very busy season, the house and gardens are now closed until April 2020.
The gardens will be open again at the beginning of April Monady to Friday 2-5pm with entry £5, free for HHA members and with a reduced entry fee for Friends of the Arboretum.
Open House and Garden day dates are to be confirmed but will be once a month from June to October.
We will continue to accommodate group bookings of 10-60 guests for private tours on many other dates. A private visit will include a tour of the house followed by afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, tea and coffee overlooking our spectacular gardens and a leisurely walk in the Italian garden, Camellia House, chapel and beautiful grounds. Cost tbc.
DOGS – Please note that whilst dogs are welcome in our pleasure grounds they MUST be kept on leads at all times and picked up after. Unfortunately, visitors are unable to take their dogs into the formal Italian Gardens and we respectfully ask all dog owners to adhere to this policy. Thank you.
DIRECTIONS: Please enter via the MAIN SCHOOL GATE off the A433. Some sat navs may try to send you to a side entrance – you will not be able to access the house and grounds from there. Drive up the main drive towards the house – the car park will be immediately in front of you. On busy days there may be an overflow car park on the field.
