Garden Visits – 2026
The gardens are open to the public by pre-booked guided tour on selected Wednesdays from April to the end of October:-
Wedesday 1st April, 13th May, 10th June, 1st July, 12th August, 16th September (Heritage Open Day) 14th October.
Bookings open 8 weeks before the event via eventbrite.com and will remain at £12.00 per person. Children 16 and under can visit free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult. HHA members should also book via eventbrite. Please report to The Guided Tour Meeting Point by the main garden gate with your booking confirmation and HHA membership card if applicable
House & Garden Open Days – 2026
The house and gardens are open on the Sundays listed below. Tours of the house are only available with a guide and these depart on the hour. Tickets must be booked in advance. Bookings open 8 weeks in advance via eventbrite.com and are £18.00 per person, which includes a guided tour of the house and self guided access to the gardens. Children 16 and under foc. Please report to reception with your booking confirmation and if you are a member of the HHA, your membership card as well. Doors open 10.30am with the first tour at 11am, last tour 3pm. Tea/coffee and biscuits are available to purchase (cash only). If you wish to bring a group on any of the dates below, this will is usually possible with prior notice – please contact before booking.

Private Group Tours – House &/Or Gardens
Private group tours of the house and gardens are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the school holidays for groups of 15-40. These will be expertly guided small group tours of the house with afternoon tea and access to the gardens. Cost £30.00 per person. Please contact Jo Baker at for further information.
Private group tours of the gardens only are also available on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from April to the end of October for groups of 5-20. Cost is £12.00 per person. Catering can be provided by prior arrangement for an additional fee. Other dates may be possible. Please email with enquiries.
